What is the Observ520x?

The OBSERV® 520x is an innovative skin scanning device, that unveils a wealth of information about your skin. Its revolutionary features allow us to go beyond the skins surface and visibly see the condition and characteristics of your skins deepest layers - many of which are not normally visible to the naked eye.

Using 10 different observation modes and advanced fluorescence technology, the OBSERV® 520x Skin Analyser reveals how subtle signs of ageing and skin health contribute to appearance. The results allow your practitioner to accurately identify the root cause of specific skin concerns and conditions and we can consequently offer personalised advice and treatment plans to address your diagnostic.

10 Skin Observation Modes

  • Daylight: This mode provides a controlled, natural daylight environment for a comprehensive view of your skin.

  • Surface Texture: Reveals the topography of your skin, giving insights into its texture.

  • Pigmentation: Illustrates common skin tone irregularities such as sun damage, pigmentation, melasma, and color variations.

  • Vascularity: Highlights the network of microvascular structures in your skin that lead to redness and visible facial flushing.

  • Parallel Polarized: Enhances the view of the skin's surface, fine lines, wrinkles, texture, and pores.

  • Cross Polarized: Suppresses surface shine for a clear view of dermal structures, vascular conditions, inflammations, and pigmentation.

  • True UV: Exposes surface and deeper skin abnormalities, creating distinguishable fluorescence patterns.

  • Simulated Woods Light: Adjusts the light spectrum to reveal diagnostic dimensions such as skin dehydration and oiliness.

  • 360 Light: Illustrates areas of volume on the face, showcasing results for age management treatments and dermal fillers.

  • 360 Grey: Removes color distractions to expose topographical signs of aging.

What to expect during a Skin Consultation

  1. Our Aesthetic Practitioners will carry out an Observ ® 520x Skin Scanning Analysis of the deeper layers of your skin.

  2. Your detailed medical and aesthetic history will be discussed, including your goals and desires.

  3. Photographs will be taken to track and monitor your results.

  4. A bespoke treatment and skincare product plan will be provided to suit your skin needs. 

  5. We will discuss realistic outcomes and expectations from each treatment, as well as any lifestyle changes that may be suitable.

  6. The cost of the treatment plan will be advised.

  7. A patch test, where required, will be carried out.

  8. We will answer any questions you may have and provide further information on the treatment.

  9. You will be required to sign the patient consent forms. 

  10. Together a bespoke treatment plan will be devised to ensure you feel empowered to become the best version of you.

Our in-depth skin consultations take around 1 hour.

Step 2

Your treatment

After a warm welcome and a refreshing drink, you will be asked to sign the consent forms for your treatment. You will be taken through the treatment process and you will have the opportunity to ask any further questions you may have. Once your treatment is complete, you may relax and have a drink. You will have the opportunity to purchase any products that you wish from us. We will then schedule your next appointment, or a review appointment.

Step 3

Aftercare

Your practitioner will discuss your aftercare with you following your treatment, you will also receive this by email. We are on hand to support your unique journey and welcome you to call or email us if you were to have any concerns, including an out of hours emergency contact for your complete reassurance.
